Mascot design for Takeda Katsuyori is sought for the use for PR and homepage,
as well as a character for souvenir goods.
The mascot should be good-looking and likable.

The mascot should be good-looking and young and likable is sought.

(2)The adored person
(3)Katsuyori who likes a drum dance and a festival
(4)His mother is said to have been an incredibly beautiful woman of the best
in Shinano

Everyone is eligible to enter.
(No age, professional/amateur restrictions apply. You may apply as a group,
too.)

Voting of the designs will commence on the 7th of July 2009 and close
on the 15st of August 2009. The design that receives the most votes during
this voting period will be deemed the winner of the Mascot Design Competition.

The winner will be selected through the public voting at the event for The 400 Year Anniversary After Katuyori's Death (sponsored by the Association of Takeda Katsuyori in Tosa) and will be chosen by the executive board of the association
|

Winner will be notified by E-mail and their details will be published on
the Katsuyori Takeda in Tosa website on middle of September 2009.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
|
1,The copyright, royalty, and all rights related to commercialization of
the submitted images belong to The Association of Takeda Katsuyori in Tosa.
2,The Promoter must receive entries during the Competition Period. The
Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected,
incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or corrupted entries. The Promoter
is not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences
of user error.
3, Prizewinners must, at the Promoter's request, participate in all promotional
activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of
the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their
name and image in promotional material.
4, The prize value is accurate as at the promotion date. The Promoter accepts
no responsibility for any variation in prize value after that date. The
prize is not transferable or exchangeable. If for any reason the prize
is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another
item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
5, If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned,
including due to infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes
beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in
its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion,
subject to any written directions of any relevant authority.
6, The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify
all entries from any person, and prohibit that person's further participation
in this promotion, who tampers with, or benefits from any tampering with,
the entry process or the operation of the promotion or acts in violation
of these conditions of entry, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with
the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person.
7, The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be
liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential
loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained
(including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence)
in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/s, except
for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability
is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
8, The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
9, All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves
the right to use the entries for various purposes including but not limiting
to, developing one or more Mascot characters to be used and or displayed
on websites, merchandise, signage, publications and in our promotions as
required from time to time. The entries as property of the Promoter may
be altered or modified by the Promoter at anytime.
10, The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the
purpose of conducting this promotion and for the purpose of developing
one or more Mascot characters. The Promoter may disclose entrants' personal
information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this
promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory lottery
departments and winner's name may be published as required under the relevant
legislation. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in
the Privacy .
